Background:

Our team embarked on integrating SMS-Magic into the Zoho CRM system for Global Tech, a dynamic business seeking to enhance its communication and engagement processes. The goal was to streamline peer-to-peer messaging within Zoho CRM using SMS-Magic’s robust platform.

Challenge: 

The objective is to optimize and streamline peer-to-peer messaging, Reporting allowed, and mass messages, leveraging the powerful features of SMS-Magic’s platform. As we aim to enhance our communication and engagement processes, designing and testing our skills in navigating the integration landscape was challenging. 

Solution:

Phase 1: Account Creation and Setup:

Our journey began with creating an account on SMS-Magic. Upon successful registration, an email verification process was initiated, and the user was guided through setting up a password for the SMS-Magic account. Once completed, the login details were requested to finalize the integration.

Brand and Campaign Registration:

Moving swiftly, our team worked on the SMS-Magic platform, completing both the “Brand Registration” and “Campaign Registration” processes. The SMS-Magic team was then approached for approval. Simultaneously, the Contact Owners of leads in the Zoho CRM’s Contacts module were changed, and the assigned Send ID was added to the Zoho CRM’s “SMS SenderId” module.

Phase 2: Integration and Testing:

To facilitate smooth communication, a “Send SMS” button was incorporated into the Zoho CRM, allowing users to seamlessly send messages directly from the CRM. Additionally, lists were created in the Leads module to categorize leads based on specific criteria, enhancing targeted messaging.

Providing Support and Resources:

To assist the client, comprehensive resources were shared, including Zoho CRM user guides, SMS-Magic login guides, and step-by-step instructions for checking the status of the 10 DLC process. Furthermore, links to SMS-Magic pricing and guides for SMS-Magic trial account creation were provided for reference.

Phase 3: Final testing and completion:

The team conducted testing upon the completion of the 10 DLC process. Additionally, discussions regarding potential future enhancements, such as peer-to-peer payment capabilities and escrow functionalities, were done to further elevate the capabilities of the integrated system.
